Have an adopted son for a priest.
Help us in Training andPreparing Hardworking, Zealous and Saintly Priests.
The specific purpose of the Society is to promote vocations to the priesthood and to train and supply zealous, dedicated and hard working missionaries wherever there is need in the Church. Thank God we have many vocations. But many of them come from rather poor families that cannot afford the expenses of 12 – 14 years of seminary formation. You can give a partial sponsorship for a seminarian with $ 250 for a month; $ 2000 for a year and $ 3,000 for a permanent memorial scholarship.
How it works:
The Provincial Superior will assign a seminarian to the sponsor, who is supporting his studies. The seminarian will write at least 2 times a year (Christmas & Easter) and the sponsor will be given yearly update about the progress, the seminarian is making in his studies. In case of the unlikely situation of a student dropping out midway through his studies, another will be assigned in his place.
To Sponsor a Seminarian
For a Month US $ 250.00
For a Year US $ 2000.00
Permanent Scholarship US $ 3,000.00
There is also a possibility of establishing a scholarship in the name of persons dear to the sponsor. In such an eventuality the scholarship amount will be made part of the CORPUS FUND and when one student completes his studies another will be able to take up studies using the same amount.
The Province runs 3 Missionary schools exclusively for the Poor, Tribal and Destitute, 1 orphanage and 1 hostel. In the orphanage we admit students who are orphans and semi-orphans in the real sense as well as destitute children who have parents but are unable to support the education of their children. The Province tries to find the balance resources. The hostel we have is not attached to our school and so we have to pay the school fees too to the outside school. The schools that we have need to be maintained by the Province, which includes the payment of the salaries to the teachers. For this we need to collect fees from the children.
The poor children are given fee concession or are given free education, depending on the situation. The Orphans & Semi-Orphans are educated and accommodated at free of cost. Let us join hands to give them life by educating them.
