About Us

Heralds of Good News is an indigenous Clerical Missionary Society of Apostolic Life of Pontifical Right. Whose principal seat is established in the Diocese of Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, India. The Society was founded by Very. Rev. Fr. Jose Kaimlett on October 14, 1984; it was erected as of Diocesan Right on May 5, 1991 and recognized as of Pontifical Right on may 5, 1999. The specific aim of the Society is “ Training and supplying zealous and saintly missionary priests where there is need in the Universal Church to the dioceses in India and abroad which experience a shortage of priests due to the lack of local vocations. Right from its inception, the society was sending missionaries to different countries. The Society has Mary Queen of Apostles and St. Joseph the worker as the Patrons
